Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buddy Marsh is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Buddy Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Hill!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh tries for a takedown but Hill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hill moves into range and clinches up with Marsh.
Hill gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Buddy Marsh has been cut.
Marsh throws a punch but it's blocked by Hill.

Marsh pulls guard.
Marsh trying to control the position.
Hill is looking to work some ground and pound but Marsh has wrist control.
Marsh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Hill pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marsh is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hill won't allow Marsh to get back to his feet.

Hill looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Marsh has picked Hill up and slammed him! Hill can't keep hold of the triangle and Marsh manages to pass to side control!

Well, if Marsh is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hill is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marsh pulls his head out easily.

Hill is refusing to be controlled, as Marsh sits in half guard.

Marsh gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Marsh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hill sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marsh somewhat.
Hill misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Marsh.

Hill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Marsh.

Marsh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hill sprawls well. Hill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marsh gets slowly back to his feet.

Hill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hill must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Marsh is pulling down on Hill's head. It's preventing any offense from Hill, at least for the moment.

Marsh has hold of Hill's hands but Hill slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Marsh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hill is working away from the top position though.

Hill thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hill drops an elbow to the side of Marsh's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hill throwing shots but Marsh is blocking nicely.

Hill is keen to just control but Marsh is a slippery customer.
Marsh is trying to escape back to his feet but Hill uses the scramble to pass into side control.
You can see the frustration on Marsh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Marsh is looking to regain half guard here but Hill keeps moving and retains side control.
Marsh wants to control but Hill postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Buddy Marsh.
Hill dodges the punch combination from Marsh.

Hill fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hill tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.
Marsh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Marsh uses the cage to get back to his feet.

A close second round but Ivan Hill will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Marsh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Marsh looking for a sweep. Not yet Marsh, not yet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hill throws a big right hand that misses.

Marsh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hill prevents Marsh from getting back to his feet.
Hill wants to control from the top but Marsh keeps moving.
Marsh wants to get back to his feet but Hill is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hill moves into the clinch.
Hill jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marsh walks away with a smile on his face. Hill gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hill pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hill fails with the takedown.
Hill plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Marsh looks for a takedown but Hill sprawls well.
Marsh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hill.
Buddy Marsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Hill.
Marsh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hill as he jumps to the side.
Ivan Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marsh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hill.

Hill darts in and clinches Marsh up against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hill lands a knee to the body.
Hill drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Buddy Marsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ivan Hill is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Marsh creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ivan Hill comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hill has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
