And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stevenson is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Stevenson circles away and we're back to standing.
Man gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Man is trying to control the position but Stevenson postures up.

Man shoots for a double leg takedown but Stevenson sprawls well. He's pushed Man's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Stevenson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Man is trying to defend but Stevenson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stevenson connects with a nice short shot to Man's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man tries to roll over but Stevenson keeps him under control.
Stevenson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Man in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Thomas Stevenson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Stevenson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
