Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mishko Tolstiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joelmir Subzero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tolstiy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Subzero manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tolstiy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tolstiy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Subzero wants to control from the top but Tolstiy keeps moving.

Tolstiy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Subzero escapes and throws Tolstiy's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Subzero decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tolstiy to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Subzero is trying to drag Tolstiy to the mat but Tolstiy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mishko Tolstiy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joelmir Subzero.
Subzero tries to pull guard but Tolstiy forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Subzero changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tolstiy fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tolstiy shoots in and bounces Subzero off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Subzero is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Subzero is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tolstiy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That was a close round but I would say that Mishko Tolstiy will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Tolstiy wants to clinch.
Subzero tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tolstiy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Subzero shoots and misses

and Tolstiy counters with a single leg into guard. Subzero didn't expect that.
Subzero is trying to keep Tolstiy in close.

Subzero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tolstiy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Subzero is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Tolstiy presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Subzero is looking for a takedown.

Tolstiy gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Tolstiy is looking to take a break and control but Subzero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tolstiy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Subzero on the ground.
Tolstiy wants to stand up but Subzero has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
