Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gordon quickly recovers to half guard.
Slice is working for a kimura but Gordon is defending it quite comfortably.
Slice is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gordon looks like he's trying to stand up.
Slice tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gordon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gordon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slice pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gordon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gordon.
Gordon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Gordon keeping moving, preventing Slice from controlling successfully.
Gordon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slice doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slice manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gordon pushes a forearm under Slice's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Slice is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
