Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eirik Rivfader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony comes into the arena with Holidae Inn blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivfader looks to land a left hand but Anthony moved out of range nicely.
Anthony throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rivfader's waist but Rivfader gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anthony off to one side.
Rivfader fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Anthony closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rivfader circles away.
Rivfader throws a nice looking combination but Anthony bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rivfader looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Rivfader counters with a shoot takedown. Anthony fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Anthony. That's going to take a lot out of him.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rivfader got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anthony has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rivfader has managed to get both his arms back between Anthony's legs - danger averted.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Anthony escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rivfader gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rivfader sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anthony's guard.
Rivfader is looking for a kimura here.
Anthony landing rabbit punches to the side of Rivfader's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Anthony misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Rivfader works his way into full mount!
Rivfader blocks Anthony's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Anthony tries to reverse the position but Rivfader maintains control.

It looks like William Anthony has been cut.
Rivfader has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A very excited looking Eirik Rivfader rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
