Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Childers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pingu Jigster!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Childers swats away the attempt to clinch by Jigster.
Childers throws a right hand that misses
and Jigster counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jigster tries to clinch but Childers moves out of range.
Childers swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jigster moves into the clinch.
Jigster turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Childers tries to bench press Jigster off him but Jigster keeps the position.
Jigster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Childers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Childers's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jigster misses with the ground and pound.
Childers is trying to control Jigster's posture but Jigster avoids it.
Childers tries to bench press Jigster off him but Jigster keeps the position.
Childers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Childers is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jigster's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jigster's back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jigster wants to escape the position.
Childers gets his hands free as Jigster looks to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Childers has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Jigster is defending well but eventually Childers manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Jigster has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
