Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerwayne Ashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gevorg Petrosyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrosyan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. No Turning Back - Stand and Fight kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gevorg Petrosyan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrosyan throws a low kick but Ashley moves out of range easily.
Petrosyan lands with an uppercut that bounces Ashley off the cage and back into range.

Petrosyan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Ashley feints and as Petrosyan raises his hands in defense, Ashley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ashley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Ashley is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Petrosyan still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Petrosyan has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Petrosyan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ashley goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Petrosyan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ashley but great work by Petrosyan.

Petrosyan is keen to just control but Ashley is a slippery customer.

Petrosyan is working for a kimura but Ashley is defending it quite comfortably.

Ashley throws a nice looking combination but Petrosyan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ashley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Petrosyan sprawls well initially but Ashley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
