Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Masuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Masuka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, John Smith!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masuka scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Masuka is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Masuka to get the leverage.
We've been hearing that Masuka has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith gets full guard.
Masuka wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
Masuka throwing strikes from guard but Smith blocks nicely.
Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Smith has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at London MMA Club. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Masuka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Masuka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.

Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masuka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith wants to sweep here but Masuka controlling him for the moment.

Smith is looking to control Masuka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Smith avoid being mounted?
Masuka is nestled in close to Smith, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Masuka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working.
Masuka working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Masuka can't control as he wanted to and Smith manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Masuka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Horrible takedown by Masuka or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.
Masuka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Masuka gets slowly back to his feet.
The fighters circle, before Smith throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Masuka's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Smith lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). John Smith!
