Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrick Estes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Seasy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seasy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rodrick Estes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Seasy!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Seasy has knocked Estes down with a huge combo! Seasy steps away and waves a wobbly Estes back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Rodrick Estes has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Seasy rushes Estes and presses him up against the cage.

Seasy has hold of one of Estes's legs. Estes is fighting the takedown attempt but Seasy gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Seasy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Estes is trying to keep Seasy in close.

Estes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Seasy defends well.
Seasy trying to control but Estes is working from the bottom.
Estes looking for a sweep. Not yet Estes, not yet.
Estes is trying to keep Seasy in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aaron Seasy.
Estes circles away from the clinch attempt
and Estes counters with a nice body kick.
Seasy misses with a hook to the body
and Estes counters with a one-two to the body.

Seasy drives through with a takedown into Estes's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Estes keeping moving, preventing Seasy from controlling successfully.

Estes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Seasy defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Estes looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Seasy has picked Estes up and slammed him! Estes can't keep hold of the triangle and Seasy manages to pass to side control!

Estes throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Seasy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Estes lands a big shot there that rocks Seasy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Estes connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Estes pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Seasy tries to clinch
and Estes counters with a right hand to the body.

Seasy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Estes is trying to defend but Seasy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are battling for position here. Estes manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Estes is looking for a triangle but Seasy pushes his legs off easily.
Seasy wants to control from the top but Estes keeps moving.

Estes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Seasy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Estes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Estes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Seasy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Seasy wants to get up but he can't break Estes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Estes is looking for a triangle but Seasy pushes his legs off easily.

Estes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Seasy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Seasy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Estes has an active guard here but Seasy has managed to pass into half guard.
Estes tries to roll over but Seasy keeps him under control.

Seasy looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Seasy wants to control but Estes is keeping him busy.
Seasy tries to pass to full mount but Estes defends it.
Estes wants to improve his position but Seasy is controlling well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Seasy wants to take a breather but Estes is having none of it.
Estes is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rodrick Estes will probably get the nod.

Estes gets caught flat footed, as Seasy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Seasy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Seasy stands up from Estes's guard - Seasy perhaps looking for a knockout.

Seasy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Estes was covering up waiting for the punch and Seasy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Seasy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Seasy trying to control the position from guard on top but Estes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Estes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Seasy's guard.

Estes decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Seasy, up you get!
Seasy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Seasy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Estes to the mat! Estes manages to get full guard.
Estes trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Seasy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Estes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Estes has his foot on Seasy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seasy works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seasy tries to stand but Estes is controlling his head.
Estes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Seasy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Estes throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Seasy wants to stand but Estes is controlling his arm.
Estes pushes Seasy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Seasy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Estes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Seasy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Estes is not content to let Seasy control the position.
Estes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Seasy off and has taken his back!
Estes not allowing Seasy to control his hands.
Estes has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Seasy's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Seasy just trying to survive but Estes is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Aaron Seasy.
Well Seasy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
