Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bam Bam has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cain Velasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bam Bam! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velasquez misses with a series of wild punches.
Velasquez wants to clinch up but Bam keeps it at a distance. A jab from Velasquez misses. Bam uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Velasquez. Sloppy strikes from Velasquez. Those never looked like landing. Bam connects with a high kick.
Bam forces Velasquez back against the cage and clinches. Velasquez can't break the clinch.
Bam breaks from the clinch.
Velasquez dives in for a single leg takedown but Bam sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Bam. Velasquez tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bam just stands there and leans against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Bam.
Bam manages to pull guard.
Velasquez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bam looking to hit a scissor sweep but Velasquez is one step ahead there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Velasquez lands a couple of elbows.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bam preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bam wants to stand but Velasquez is controlling the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bam can do anything to dispel that myth. Velasquez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Velasquez throwing strikes from guard but Bam blocks nicely. Velasquez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Velasquez with a flurry of punches that miss. Velasquez prevents Bam from getting back to his feet. Velasquez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bam manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Velasquez manages to get himself to full guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Velasquez wants to stand up but Bam is controlling him. Bam sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Bam is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Velasquez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Velasquez has escaped and now he's on top! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bam is looking to stand up but Velasquez isn't so interested in that idea.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bam keeping moving, preventing Velasquez from controlling successfully. Velasquez stopping the sweep attempt from Bam. Velasquez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Velasquez trying to control but Bam is working from the bottom. Bam working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Velasquez. Velasquez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bam wants to sweep but no luck. Velasquez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bam's head. Bam is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Velasquez works over Bam with some ground and pound from guard. Bam is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Velasquez's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Velasquez postures up.
Velasquez drops back looking for a leg! Bam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bam manages to kick Velasquez off! Velasquez jumps back into Bam's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Velasquez throwing strikes from guard but Bam blocks nicely. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Cain Velasquez will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Velasquez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bam tries to close the distance and clinch but Velasquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bam closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bam lands in his opponent's guard. Bam slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bam trying to control the position from guard on top but Velasquez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bam throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Velasquez works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bam wants to get up but he can't break Velasquez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bam throwing strikes from guard but Velasquez blocks nicely. Bam trying to control the position from guard on top but Velasquez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bam Bam. No luck with that takedown attempt from Velasquez.
Bam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Velasquez dodges the ground and pound from Bam.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bam throws an elbow but Velasquez slips to the side and avoids it well. Bam cracks Velasquez with a big right hand but Velasquez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bam stands up. Bam has a takedown stuffed. Velasquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bam paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bam looking to score a takedown here. Velasquez is defending well but Bam drives through and ends up in Velasquez's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bam throws a big elbow that misses. Velasquez is looking to stand up but Bam isn't so interested in that idea.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bam slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bam throws an elbow that misses. Velasquez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bam's guard. Nice move by Velasquez! Bam is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Velasquez wants to stand but Bam is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bam is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Velasquez defends well.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Velasquez looking to pass the guard. Velasquez wants to control from the top but Bam keeps moving. Velasquez stops Bam from standing up. Velasquez is looking to work some ground and pound but Bam has wrist control.
Bam scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Velasquez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bam pushes Velasquez up against the cage in a clinch. Bam wants to take the fight to the mat but Velasquez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Bam Bam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Velasquez manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Velasquez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Velasquez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bam wants a takedown but no success here.

Velasquez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Velasquez tries to sprawl but Bam drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bam takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bam seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Velasquez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Velasquez won't allow Bam to pass to mount. Velasquez trying to hold on to Bam's head to control him but Bam postures up.
Bam is looking to take a break and control but Velasquez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Velasquez is trying to maintain the position but Bam is very close to passing his half guard.
 We're going to have a standup here because Cain Velasquez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bam feints and as Velasquez raises his hands in defense, Bam changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Velasquez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bam has managed to get both his arms back between Velasquez's legs - danger averted.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bam postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bam throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bam scores with a decent looking elbow strike. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Velasquez holds on and takes a little breather. Bam is looking to work some ground and pound but Velasquez has wrist control. Bam prevents Velasquez from getting back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Bam Bam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bam has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
