Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Steamboat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lupe Pintor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lupe Pintor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steamboat misses with a shot to the body
and Pintor counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Steamboat seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Pintor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steamboat swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Steamboat throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pintor stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
