The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols swings for the body but Chulainn moves out of range.
Chulainn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Daman Chulainn has been cut.
Chulainn slips under a jab.
Chulainn throws a good cross that connects.
Nichols throws a shot from downtown. Chulainn moves away and avoids it.
Chulainn throws a leg kick but Nichols moved away.
Nichols throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Chulainn counter with a right hand.
Nichols throws the left hand but Chulainn avoids the punch easily.
Chulainn looks to land a left hand but Nichols moved out of range nicely.
Chulainn has Nichols up against the cage in a clinch.
Chulainn manages to break the clinch.
Nichols throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Chulainn counter with a right hand.
Chulainn scores with a nice right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nichols misses with a straight left.
Chulainn gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chulainn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nichols.

Nichols looks to throw the jab but Chulainn is out of range.
Chulainn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Nichols lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Chulainn falls backwards - clearly groggy! Nichols dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
