The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogers closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Deere crashing to the mat! Deere uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

It looks like John Deere has been cut.
Deere looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rogers connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Deere throws a head kick that misses.
Deere takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Rogers throws a combination. Deere tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Deere is rocked!
John Deere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogers ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Deere out cold! The fight is over!
