Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Iverson pinned against the cage. Iverson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Iverson blocks a head kick by Johnson.

Iverson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard.
Iverson is working Johnson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Iverson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Johnson dives on top into guard.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Iverson is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.
Iverson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Iverson is looking for a kimura but Johnson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Iverson to get the leverage.

Iverson seems to be working for a kimura but Johnson defends the submission attempt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Iverson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Johnson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Iverson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Iverson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.

Iverson swings around for an armbar but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Iverson's guard.

Iverson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Iverson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Johnson is defending well though. Iverson let's go of the attempt for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Iverson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Iverson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Iverson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The strikes coming from Iverson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Well Iverson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
