Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Neji Hyuga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Neji Hyuga has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Neji Hyuga seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hyuga, right into the meat.
Wayne tries to clinch but Hyuga moves away
and Hyuga counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wayne tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hyuga counters with a head kick. That will keep Wayne thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Wayne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hyuga bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wayne darts in trying to clinch
and Hyuga counters with an inside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wayne. Hyuga does a little dance to reset his feet.

Wayne looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Wayne throws a hook to the side of Hyuga's head but Hyuga sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
John Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne connects with a crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Hyuga counters with a good, hard body kick but Wayne shrugs it off.
Hyuga is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wayne.

Hyuga moves out of range as Wayne strikes.
Wayne misses with a lunging right hand
and Hyuga counters with a solid body kick.
Wayne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like John Wayne has been cut.
Hyuga lands a hook that snaps the head of Wayne backwards.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Neji Hyuga will probably get the nod.

Hyuga thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wayne if he has to take too many more of those.

and as Wayne tries to get back out of range, Hyuga steps forwards and cracks Wayne with a beautiful high kick! Wayne goes down! Oh, he's out! He's out cold! No need for a referee count here - this one is all over!
