Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phaan takes a kick to the side of the head.
Phaan moves into the clinch.
Najib Osman wants to break free but Phaan has control.
Phaan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Phaan lands a hook that snaps the head of Najib Osman backwards.
Najib Osman stalling the fight.
Phaan trying to control the position but instead, Najib Osman has worked for underhooks and has pushed Phaan into the ropes.
Phaan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Phaan tries to circle away but Najib Osman has him pinned against the ropes.

Phaan is looking to control Najib Osman's arms but Najib Osman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Phaan has his back to the ropes.
Phaan is trying to push Najib Osman away but Najib Osman has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Najib Osman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Phaan has him pressed against the ropes.

and Phaan counters with a nice body kick.

Phaan's coach down at Sanitarium was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Phaan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Najib Osman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Najib Osman tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Phaan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Phaan lands a head kick that bluckles Najib Osman and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Phaan no doubt looking to push for a finish!
It looks like Mahamud Najib Osman has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Phaan connects with a quick right hand that sends Najib Osman tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
