Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between JT Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Hoekstra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman lands an overhand right.
It looks like Rico Hoekstra has been cut.
Hoekstra moves away from the strike by Redman.
Redman scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hoekstra throws a sloppy head kick
and Redman counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hoekstra has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Redman.
Hoekstra drops his guard momentarily, allowing Redman to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Hoekstra! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Redman takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). JT Redman!
JT Redman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
