And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Phaan!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phaan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Maxiq paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Maxiq looks to land a left hand but Phaan moved out of range nicely.
Nice jab there from Maxiq.
Maxiq misses with a right hand
and Phaan counters with a head kick.
Phaan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Maxiq finds it's way round the side to connect with Phaan's head.
Maxiq misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Phaan.
Phaan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maxiq throws out the jab.
Phaan doesn't manage to clinch there - Maxiq circles away.
Phaan moves in looking to clinch but Maxiq pushes him off.
Phaan defending well as Maxiq loads up on a big left hand.

enabling Phaan to counter with a crisp jab.
Phaan misses with a few strikes there.
Phaan tries to close the distance and clinch but Maxiq swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Maxiq seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Phaan lands a leg kick that knocks Maxiq off balance momentarily.
Phaan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Phaan tries to clinch up but Maxiq circles away and keeps his distance.

Phaan tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Maxiq manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Maxiq connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Phaan throws a head kick that Maxiq semi-blocks.

Oh Maxiq is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Phaan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Maxiq paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Phaan misses with a series of wild punches.

Phaan weaves into range and cracks Maxiq right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Maxiq goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Phaan is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
