Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uriah Chesnokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Kruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruz has chosen Bonfire as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriah Chesnokov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Kruz! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chesnokov. No luck with that takedown attempt from Chesnokov. Chesnokov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Chesnokov tries to clinch up. Kruz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kruz works the jab nicely. Chesnokov fails in his attempt to clinch. Kruz catches Chesnokov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Chesnokov walks into a left hand. Chesnokov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruz tries to pull guard but Chesnokov forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Chesnokov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chesnokov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kruz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kruz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Chesnokov throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kruz. Chesnokov ducks right into an uppercut from Kruz. Chesnokov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uriah Chesnokov. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheers as Kruz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chesnokov doesn't seem phased though. Kruz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chesnokov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Chesnokov moves into the clinch successfully.

Kruz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kruz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chesnokov fails with the takedown. Uriah Chesnokov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chesnokov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kruz counters with a left to the body. Chesnokov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kruz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kruz connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chesnokov shoots in and gets a takedown into Kruz's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruz has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Chesnokov has passed into side control.
Kruz struggling a bit here. Chesnokov stands up. Chesnokov instigates a clinch. Chesnokov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kruz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Chesnokov has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Kruz trying to control the action but Chesnokov just sinks the hooks in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Kruz turns into Chesnokov and is now in his guard.
Kruz wants to pass the guard but Chesnokov is keeping the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chesnokov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chesnokov working a defensive guard but Kruz manages to pass into side control anyway.
Kruz wants to stand but Chesnokov is controlling his arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uriah Chesnokov dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chesnokov feints and as Kruz raises his hands in defense, Chesnokov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Chesnokov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kruz, up you get! Chesnokov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kruz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kruz pushes Chesnokov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chesnokov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Chesnokov stands up. Chesnokov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kruz swivels and escapes. Chesnokov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This has been an exciting period of action! A shot to the liver by Kruz. Beautiful body shot. Kruz throws a right hand that Chesnokov ducks under and follows up with a left that Chesnokov also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chesnokov moves into the clinch successfully.
Chesnokov gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Kruz is trying to keep Chesnokov in close.
Chesnokov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kruz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kruz wants to stand and escape but Chesnokov is having none of it. Chesnokov trying to control the position from guard on top but Kruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kruz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kruz controls Chesnokov momentarily but Chesnokov frees himself. Chesnokov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chesnokov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kruz is trying to defend but Chesnokov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kruz trying to control here.
Chesnokov trying to pass the guard but Kruz defending well. Kruz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chesnokov is working away from the top position though. Kruz tries to get to full guard but Chesnokov has control of the leg. Chesnokov trying to advance position but Kruz counters by regaining guard.

Chesnokov trying to control the position from guard on top but Kruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kruz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kruz wants to stand but Chesnokov is controlling the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Chesnokov rushes Kruz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Chesnokov prevents a body shot from Kruz. Chesnokov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kruz can't fight it off and eventually Chesnokov manages to take the fight to the floor. Kruz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kruz wants to stand but Chesnokov is controlling the position. Chesnokov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kruz is keeping the position for now. Chesnokov wants to control from the top but Kruz keeps moving. Kruz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chesnokov is controlling him. Chesnokov trying to control but Kruz is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Uriah Chesnokov just wasn't active enough. Chesnokov shoots in but Kruz avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chesnokov fails with the takedown. Kruz scores with a hook to the body. Chesnokov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kruz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Chesnokov. Chesnokov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chesnokov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kruz. Chesnokov tries to clinch up. Tom Kruz seems to be getting the better of the standup. Chesnokov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kruz avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uriah Chesnokov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruz scores with a hook to the body. Chesnokov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kruz lands a nice hook to Chesnokov's body. Chesnokov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kruz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chesnokov tries to clinch up but Kruz circles away and keeps his distance. Uriah Chesnokov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kruz jabs at Chesnokov's body. Tom Kruz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kruz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Chesnokov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kruz did well to prevent Chesnokov getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kruz has his hands clasped together around Chesnokov's back. He's all about the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruz trying to hold on to Chesnokov's head to control him but Chesnokov postures up.
Kruz wants to get back to full guard. Chesnokov trying to control from half guard but Kruz is working away. Kruz is trying to get back to full guard. Kruz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kruz. Kruz keeping moving, preventing Chesnokov from controlling successfully. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kruz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chesnokov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chesnokov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kruz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kruz has escaped and now he's on top! Kruz wants to get up but he can't break Chesnokov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chesnokov is on top in guard.
Chesnokov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Chesnokov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kruz keeping moving, preventing Chesnokov from controlling successfully. Chesnokov has gone for a leg lock! Kruz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chesnokov's guard. Chesnokov trying to keep a closed guard but Kruz is proving a slippery customer.
Chesnokov wants to stand and escape but Kruz is having none of it. Tom Kruz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Uriah Chesnokov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kruz is fighting to break Chesnokov's control of his arms but Chesnokov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Uriah Chesnokov. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chesnokov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
