The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dejesus has closed the distance and engaged Kyznetsov in a clinch.
Dejesus breaks the clinch.
Dejesus misses the shot to the body.
Kyznetsov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kyznetsov has his takedown stuffed
and Dejesus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dejesus.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dejesus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kyznetsov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dejesus avoids it really well and circles away.

Dejesus is looking to work some ground and pound but Kyznetsov has wrist control.
Dejesus wants to control from the top but Kyznetsov keeps moving.

Kyznetsov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kyznetsov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dejesus.

Dejesus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kyznetsov pulls his head out easily.

Dejesus throws a sloppy head kick and Kyznetsov moves out of range easily.
Kyznetsov darts in looking for a takedown but Dejesus gets double underhooks and turns Kyznetsov into the cage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dejesus throws a jab but it's blocked by Kyznetsov.
Dejesus dives in and grabs Kyznetsov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kyznetsov pushes down on Dejesus's head and hops out.
