The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chikatilo throws a low kick but Marx moves out of range easily.
Chikatilo is looking to clinch but Marx is avoiding it.
Marx throws a looping overhand right but Chikatilo ducks down to avoid it.
Chikatilo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marx. Marx circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Mordechai Marx has been cut.
Chikatilo looks to land a right hand but Marx moved out of range.
Marx slips under a jab.
Chikatilo on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Chikatilo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Marx on his heels. He'll look to pass Marx's guard now, I'm sure.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marx is on top in guard.
Chikatilo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marx manages to get himself to full guard.

Marx is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chikatilo defends well.

Marx lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Chikatilo!

Marx looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Chikatilo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Marx seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chikatilo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Chikatilo tries to roll over but Marx keeps him under control.

Chikatilo seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
