Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabreros comes to the cage accompanied by Love is what i got. Snuka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Superfly by Curtis Mayfield. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jimmy Snuka was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Snuka! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snuka throws a sloppy body shot
and Cabreros counters with a nice body shot. Cabreros's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Snuka connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cabreros scrambles back to his feet. Snuka misses with a hook. Cabreros ducked under it nicely. Snuka tries to clinch up but Cabreros circles away and keeps his distance. Snuka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cabreros moves away. Jimmy Snuka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snuka swings for the body but Cabreros moves out of range.
Snuka lands a nice shot that snaps Cabreros's head back.
Snuka tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cabreros defends well and Snuka ends up having to push Cabreros into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Cabreros misses with a short punch on the inside. Cabreros has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Cabreros lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A short right from Cabreros. Cabreros working aggressively here.

Cabreros lands a body punch in the clinch. Snuka throws a head punch that misses. Snuka swings wildly with an uppercut but Cabreros uses good head movement to avoid it. Snuka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cabreros pulls him back up using the underhooks. Good body shot from Snuka.
Cabreros stalling in the clinch but Snuka improves position. Cabreros is trying to force a seperation but Snuka has the dominant position. Snuka misses with a punch on the inside.
Cabreros makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Cabreros lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Snuka has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cabreros is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Peter Cabreros has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Snuka. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cabreros. Snuka lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cabreros backwards. Cabreros avoiding damage.
Cabreros has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cabreros fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snuka misses with a punch to the body.
Cabreros lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Snuka lands with a light punch inside. Snuka tries to stall but Cabreros uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Snuka dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Cabreros working some nice short punches in the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Snuka. Snuka tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cabreros's elbow. Cabreros prevents a body shot from Snuka. Cabreros works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Snuka is rocked! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cabreros takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Snuka is still on wobbly legs! Can Cabreros finish him? Snuka working aggressively here.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Cabreros scores with an uppercut up the middle. Snuka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cabreros pulls his leg out and moves away.
Snuka with a body punch. A glancing blow. Cabreros jabs at Snuka's body. Snuka shoots in looking for a takedown but Cabreros manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Snuka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cabreros throws a front kick that sends Snuka stumbling back into the cage. Snuka looks winded! Good leg kick by Cabreros there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cabreros is looking to slow Snuka down with leg kicks. Snuka leaves his chin hanging out and Cabreros seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Snuka crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Cabreros! An out of breath Peter Cabreros thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
