Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Allowin Baaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Verinen Puukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Allowin Baaf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Verinen Puukko!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baaf gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Puukko postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Puukko shoots in looking for a takedown. Baaf tries to sprawl out of it but Puukko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Baaf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Allowin Baaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Verinen Puukko.

Baaf cracks Puukko with an uppercut from hell and Puukko crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Baaf's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Puukko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baaf tries to avoid it but Puukko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baaf to the ground. Baaf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Baaf misses with the combination.
Baaf swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Baaf throws a head kick that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Puukko shoots for a double leg takedown but Baaf sprawls well. He's pushed Puukko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Puukko has managed to clinch.
Baaf makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Puukko is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Puukko misses with a body punch.
Baaf escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Puukko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Baaf, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
