Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Higuita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Yauch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higuita comes to the cage accompanied by Man with a harmonica. Yauch is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fight For Your Right To Party. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yauch on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Higuita wants to slow Yauch down by chopping away at his legs.
Yauch bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Higuita's head backwards.
Higuita slips a straight right by Yauch.
Yauch wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Yauch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Higuita works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Higuita is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yauch.

Higuita ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yauch moves away.

Yauch pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Higuita throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yauch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Higuita uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yauch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Yauch. Higuita does a little dance to reset his feet.

Higuita feints and then cracks Yauch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yauch down.
Yauch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Higuita connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Higuita needs to keep his hands up - Yauch had a free shot at his head there.
Yauch misses with an attempted mid kick.

Higuita rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yauch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oh Higuita is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yauch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Higuita doesn't seem bothered though.
Yauch throws a jab but it's blocked by Higuita.

Yauch throws the left hand but Higuita avoids the punch easily.
Yauch throws a lazy right hand but Higuita sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Higuita throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yauch.

Yauch lands a brutal uppercut that launches Higuita off his feet! Higuita tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

A relieved looking Adam Yauch thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
