Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Osko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sabotage kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Dempsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Osko!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey throws a head kick that misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Osko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dempsey plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Dempsey just misses with a punch to the body.
A head kick misses from Osko.
Dempsey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Osko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dempsey throws a hook but Osko blocks it.

Osko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dempsey is trying to stand.
Osko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dempsey is trying to stand up here but Osko is controlling him well.
Dempsey blocking the ground and pound attempt from Osko.

Osko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dempsey is controlling Osko's trapped leg to prevent Osko from advancing to side control.

Osko might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dempsey haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Osko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dempsey.
Osko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dempsey jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jack Dempsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Osko. Those never looked like landing.
Dempsey takes a swing at Osko's ribcage but misses.

Osko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Osko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dempsey is looking to slow Osko down with leg kicks.
Dempsey connects with a jab.
We've been told by Dempsey's head coaches at GTi 888 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Osko throws a leg kick but Dempsey sees it coming and moves out of range.
Dempsey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dempsey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Osko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dempsey misses with a looping right.
Osko misses with a kick to the body.
Dempsey lands with a slapping head kick.
Jack Dempsey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Osko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Osko connects with a body shot.
Dempsey checks the leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Osko tries to score with a low kick but Dempsey moves his leg out of the way.
A telegraphed right hand from Dempsey misses the target.
Dempsey scores with a nice strike.
Dempsey thuds his right hand into Osko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


Osko is rocked!

Osko shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Osko is still in real trouble! Can Dempsey finish him?
Osko is keen to just control but Dempsey is a slippery customer.
Osko seems to have recovered his senses.
Dempsey is trying is best to control the position here.
Osko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dempsey keeps working.
Osko is taking a breather. Dempsey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dempsey wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dempsey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Osko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Osko's back!
Dempsey wants to control but Osko is keeping busy.
Osko trying to control but not successfully.
Osko is really stuck here.
Dempsey is landing with strikes. Osko can't take much more of this.
Osko trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Dempsey tries to keep control of the position but Osko is staying busy.
I really don't envy Osko right now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dempsey scores with punches from the back.
Dempsey not allowing Osko to control his hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Dempsey dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nice sprawl there from Dempsey as Osko shoots in.
Dempsey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Osko was well out of range. Poor timing from Dempsey.
Dempsey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Osko.
Dempsey lands a right hook to the body.
Dempsey thows a left - swing and a miss!

An inside leg kick lands from Dempsey.
Osko throws a right and a left that Dempsey avoids nicely.
Nice shot lands for Dempsey.
Dempsey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dempsey.

Dempsey throws a head kick that half lands.
Osko throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Dempsey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dempsey throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dempsey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dempsey misses with a looping right.
Osko misses with a series of wild punches.
Good standup being displayed there by Dempsey as he connects with a hook.
Osko looks up at the clock. Bad move! Dempsey lands a right hand from hell, dropping Osko. Dempsey pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Dempsey!
