Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Geistman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nero Boston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geistman's entrance music is Twist. A fine choice. Boston comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Loituma - kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geistman misses with a wild combination.
Geistman throws a sloppy head kick and Boston moves out of range easily.
Boston decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Boston is pressing down on Geistman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Geistman is holding on for now.
Geistman wants to get back to his feet.
Geistman tries to get to full guard but Boston has control of the leg.
Geistman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Geistman is trying to stand up here but Boston is controlling him well.
Boston is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Geistman defends it well.
Boston trying to mount his opponent but Geistman defends it.
Boston is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Geistman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Geistman misses with a few strikes there.

Geistman jabs at Boston's body.
Geistman lunges at Boston with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boston's hand.
Geistman lands with a shot to the body.
Boston looks gassed!
Boston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Geistman lands with a kick to the ribs.

Boston shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Geistman but Geistman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Geistman connects with a high kick.
Boston closes the distance and clinches up with Geistman, looking for a takedown. Boston pushes Geistman against the cage but Geistman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Scott Geistman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nero Boston.
Boston drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boston thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Boston drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Geistman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Boston has Geistman in his guard.
Boston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Geistman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Geistman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Geistman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Geistman stands up over Boston, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boston is on top in guard.

Boston drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boston jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Geistman is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Boston frees his head nicely. Oh but Geistman has switched to an armbar! Boston is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
