Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cechini Muszyna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muszyna has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Cechini Muszyna is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Gotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Cechini Muszyna! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gotti looks to land a combination. Muszyna sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Muszyna misses with an uppercut. Gotti saw that one coming. Gotti lands with an uppercut that bounces Muszyna off the cage and back into range. Gotti thows a body shot but no joy. Gotti works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Gotti lands with a nice combination. Muszyna backs away looking to recover. Gotti swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Muszyna. No luck with that takedown attempt from Gotti. Gotti throws a body punch but Muszyna moves out of range. Muszyna swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gotti looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Muszyna avoids the body shot from Gotti.
Gotti punishes Muszyna's body with a nice straight punch. Gotti throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muszyna slips a jab and a cross from Gotti.
Cechini Muszyna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gotti is looking to slow Muszyna down with leg kicks. Gotti fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Muszyna to the ground. Gotti is now in Muszyna's guard. Gotti slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Muszyna looks winded! Gotti wants to pass the guard but Muszyna is keeping the position. Muszyna avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gotti is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up. John Gotti wasn't doing enough on the ground. Gotti misses with a few strikes there.
Gotti lands with a straight right. Muszyna didn't see that one coming. Muszyna on the wrong end of a nice jab. Muszyna misses the body punch and Gotti counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Gotti scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A looping hook to the body misses from Gotti. Muszyna does a little dance to reset his feet. Gotti with a lazy takedown attempt and Muszyna counters with a lovely straight right hand! Muszyna keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotti slips under a jab from Muszyna. Muszyna on the wrong end of a nice jab. Muszyna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gotti moves away. Gotti closes the distance and clinches up with Muszyna, looking for a takedown. Gotti pushes Muszyna against the cage but Muszyna circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Gotti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gotti lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Muszyna backs up against the cage.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gotti. Gotti is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Muszyna avoids the body shot from Gotti.
Muszyna takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Muszyna is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gotti. Gotti throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Muszyna stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gotti misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Muszyna gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Muszyna misses with a body punch
enabling Gotti to counter with a crisp jab. Gotti drops his hands momentarily and Muszyna takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Muszyna throws an off balance right hand
and Gotti counters with a straight right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Muszyna misses with the combination.
Gotti lands a jab to Muszyna's midsection. Gotti misses with a series of wild punches.
Cechini Muszyna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Muszyna doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Muszyna misses with a low kick as Gotti jumps back. Gotti connects with a right hand. Muszyna shakes it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Gotti dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gotti pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Muszyna back to the cage. Gotti follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Muszyna throws a leg kick and Gotti makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Muszyna tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A left and a right from Gotti both land. Nice combination. Gotti punishes Muszyna's body with a nice straight punch. Gotti stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Gotti connects with a leg kick. Muszyna looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Gotti tries to score a power double leg takedown but Muszyna sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gotti somewhat. Gotti keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

A swing and a miss from Muszyna. Muszyna is breathing heavily. Gotti shoots for a double leg takedown but Muszyna sprawls well. He's pushed Gotti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Good leg kick by Gotti there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Muszyna lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gotti sizes up Muszyna with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Muszyna pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gotti is out of range and Muszyna settles back down. Gotti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Muszyna closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Gotti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Muszyna tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gotti was well out of range. Poor timing from Muszyna.

Gotti misses the body punch and Muszyna counters with a right hand to the body. Muszyna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gotti moves away. Gotti is looking to wear down Muszyna with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Gotti throws a body punch but Muszyna moves out of range. Gotti fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Gotti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gotti swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gotti gets the takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Gotti is looking to take a break and control but Muszyna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotti is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Muszyna will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Muszyna tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gotti wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Muszyna trying to remain calm as Gotti controls from the top position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gotti is looking to take a break and control but Muszyna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

John Gotti has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Gotti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muszyna moves away. Muszyna throws the left hand but Gotti avoids the punch easily. Muszyna takes one to the chin there. Gotti dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gotti takes a swing at Muszyna's ribcage but misses. Muszyna misses with a wild body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Muszyna takes a body punch but keeps moving. Muszyna throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Muszyna has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Muszyna jabbing away but nothing is landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Gotti dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Gotti throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gotti listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Gotti cracks Muszyna with an open hand slap. Muszyna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gotti moves away. Gotti comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Left hook, right uppercut from Gotti. Gotti scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Gotti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muszyna moves away. Muszyna misses with a body shot.
Muszyna takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gotti slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Gotti misses with a body shot.
Gotti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muszyna manages to avoid it. John Gotti is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gotti looks for the body kick but Muszyna saw that one coming. Muszyna throws a jab but it's blocked by Gotti. Muszyna misses with a right hand and Gotti makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Gotti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Muszyna looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Gotti digs a good body shot into Muszyna's ribs. Muszyna takes a body punch but keeps moving. Muszyna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gotti.
Gotti fakes the leg kick and cracks Muszyna in the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Gotti. That's going to slow Muszyna down. Gotti gets the takedown into side control. Gotti is looking to take a break and control but Muszyna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gotti working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Gotti controls the position. Gotti has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Cechini Muszyna has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Gotti trying to control the position but Muszyna is working away.
We're going to have a standup here because John Gotti wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Gotti fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Muszyna on the side of the head. Gotti looks to score with a jab to the body but Muszyna is just out of range. Gotti is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Muszyna can do to turn this around? Gotti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gotti shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gotti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Muszyna does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Still in half guard, Gotti seems content to control. Gotti seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Muszyna for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! John Gotti showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gotti has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
