Cherry closes the distance and clinches up with Bot, looking for a takedown. Cherry pushes Bot against the ropes but Bot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bot lands a big uppercut and Cherry crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cherry looks OK. Bot waves Cherry back to his feet!

It looks like Buster Cherry has been cut.

Bot is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cherry flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cherry is out cold! Bot holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Strike Bot!
A relieved looking Strike Bot thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
