Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kennith Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedr Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennith Cannon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kennith Cannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pedr Swan! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cannon to the mat! Cannon manages to get full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Swan trying to control but Cannon is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Swan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cannon dives on top into guard. Cannon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Swan is looking for a triangle but Cannon pushes his legs off easily.
Swan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Swan looking for a sweep. Not yet Swan, not yet. Swan has his foot on Cannon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cannon works his way back into a safe position though. Swan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cannon. Swan pulls Cannon in close to prevent any damage. Cannon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Swan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cannon manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Swan wants to control from the top but Cannon keeps moving. Swan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Pedr Swan was stalling too much, according to the referee. A momentary lapse in concentration from Swan enables Cannon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Swan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cannon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cannon landing some decent shots from guard. Swan being controlled here, momentarily. Cannon working some strikes from top position. Swan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Swan wants to pass to mount but Cannon is defending the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cannon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cannon keeping moving, preventing Swan from controlling successfully. Swan looks winded! Cannon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Swan manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Swan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cannon's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Swan has momentary wrist control but Cannon slips an elbow through the middle. Cannon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Swan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cannon has managed to get both his arms back between Swan's legs - danger averted. Swan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cannon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cannon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cannon wants to control from the top but Swan keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cannon throwing strikes but missing. Cannon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Swan's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pedr Swan will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cannon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Swan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cannon is aware though and is defending well. Cannon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cannon is working Swan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Swan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pedr Swan has got the better of the ground game so far. Swan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cannon defends well. Swan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cannon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cannon throws a big right hand that misses. Swan keeping moving, preventing Cannon from controlling successfully. Swan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cannon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cannon working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Swan is breathing heavily.

Cannon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Swan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cannon chips away with some ground and pound. Swan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cannon's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Cannon with a flurry of punches that miss. Cannon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cannon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cannon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Swan keeping moving, preventing Cannon from controlling successfully. Cannon content to stall in guard here.

We're going to have a standup here because Kennith Cannon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Cannon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Swan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cannon wants to control but Swan is keeping him busy. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Swan takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Swan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Cannon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cannon is looking to take a break and control but Swan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Swan wants to control but Cannon postures up. Cannon is trying to get an arm triangle but Swan is defending well. You can see the frustration on Swan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cannon tries to score with some ground and pound. Swan controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Cannon landing strikes. Swan is looking to regain half guard here but Cannon keeps moving and retains side control. Cannon is chipping away with strikes.

Not really close to a finish though. Swan is looking for a sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cannon slows the pace down. Swan is not content to let Cannon control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Swan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cannon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Swan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cannon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Swan has Cannon in his guard. Swan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cannon landing with the ground and pound. Cannon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Swan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cannon is aware though and is defending well. Cannon wants to get up but he can't break Swan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kennith Cannon has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Cannon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Swan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

And that's the end of the fight! Kennith Cannon showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cannon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
