Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yohan Cabaye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Jigster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron Jigster is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yohan Cabaye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron Jigster! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jigster lands with a kick to the temple. Cabaye shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Jigster looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A nice combination there by Jigster.
Cabaye avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cabaye tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jigster swivels and escapes. Jigster fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jigster throws a series of punches but Cabaye avoids them all with ease. Cabaye wants to clinch. Jigster stuffs the takedown attempt from Cabaye. Cabaye gets slowly back to his feet. Cabaye wants to land a leg kick but Jigster is out of range. Cabaye throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sloppy strikes from Jigster. Those never looked like landing. Cabaye shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jigster defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yohan Cabaye. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jigster moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Cabaye looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cabaye misses with a takedown attempt - Jigster sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jigster blocks a head kick by Cabaye.
Jigster tried to score with a low kick but Cabaye checks it. Cabaye tries to clinch up. Cabaye dives in and grabs Jigster's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jigster pushes down on Cabaye's head and hops out. Cabaye throws a head kick that misses. Cabaye looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cabaye wants to control from the top but Jigster keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jigster is working an open guard so Cabaye takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Cabaye tries to clinch but Jigster is having none of it. Cabaye misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cabaye misses with a body kick. Ron Jigster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cabaye gets the takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cabaye is looking to take a break and control but Jigster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yohan Cabaye has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Cabaye throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cabaye closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jigster did well to prevent Cabaye getting side control. Cabaye lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Cabaye is looking for a kimura but Jigster is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cabaye to get the leverage. Cabaye seems to be looking for submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cabaye drops an elbow to the side of Jigster's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yohan Cabaye dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jigster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cabaye manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jigster tries to sprawl but Cabaye drives through with a takedown into half guard. Cabaye has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jigster defend it? Cabaye steps over the head and cranks it - Jigster is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cabaye!
