Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Pashik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Durant has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Durant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drew Pashik! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durant tries to clinch up. Durant has his takedown stuffed and Pashik counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Pashik misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Durant tries to close the distance and clinch but Pashik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Durant avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pashik closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pashik working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Durant lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Durant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Durant works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pashik can't do much from the bottom here. Durant wants to control but Pashik is keeping him busy. Durant taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durant tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Durant has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durant prevents Pashik from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durant is working to tighten his grip on Pashik's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pashik has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Durant is really squeezing tight and eventually Pashik passes out! Durant breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
