Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Zinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, William Adama!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adama misses with an attempted mid kick.

Zinn tries to keep at a distance but Adama has taken the fight into the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Zinn.
Adama creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Zinn's defenses.
Adama tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Zinn.
Adama using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Adama lands an elbow just above Zinn 's eye.
Adama pushes Zinn back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Zinn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Adama missing with knees to the body.
Zinn tries a body shot but Adama blocks it.
Adama lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Adama.
A head kick misses from Adama.
Zinn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Zinn definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Zinn blocks the body kick.
Zinn misses with a lunging right hand

and Adama counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Adama.
Adama tries to land knees in the clinch but Zinn avoids the damage to the body.
Zinn tries to break the clinch but Adama is controlling the position.
Zinn lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Adama or not.
Zinn can't find room to land a body shot as Adama controls the action.

Zinn is working Adama over against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Adama tries to land a knee to the head but Zinn blocks with his arms.
Zinn looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Adama prevents Zinn from breaking the clinch.
Zinn wants to break free but Adama has control.
Zinn is trying to force a seperation but Adama has the dominant position.
Adama misses with a hook to the ribs.
Zinn takes an elbow to the forehead.
Adama pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Adama connects with a knee to the head.
Zinn blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Adama looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Adama scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Zinn trying to stall but Adama improves his position.
Zinn wants to break the clinch but can't.
Adama missing with knees to the body.
Zinn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Zinn is trying to push Adama away but Adama has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Adama lands with a light punch inside.
Adama misses with an elbow over the top.
Adama is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Zinn tries to break the clinch but Adama is controlling the position.
Zinn taking a breather.
Zinn misses with a body punch.
Zinn is trying to break free.
Adama lands an elbow that stopped Zinn in his tracks for a moment.
Zinn is trying to push Adama away but Adama has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Adama.

Adama drops Zinn with a big knee straight up the middle! Zinn is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Zinn is rocked!


It looks like Martin Zinn has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adama throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Zinn crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). William Adama!
A relieved looking William Adama thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
