Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Barca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barca is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by AC/DC: Hell's Bells. George Patton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Patton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Hannibal Barca!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton moves away from the strike by Barca.
Barca swinging wilding here.
Hannibal Barca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barca fails to land with a series of punches.
Patton ducks under a wild hook from Barca.
Barca will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Patton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barca's waist but Barca gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patton off to one side.
Patton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Barca throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barca swings for the body but Patton moves out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Patton. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Barca darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Patton shoots for a takedown but Barca saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Patton gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Barca throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Barca swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Patton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hannibal Barca is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Patton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barca throws a series of punches but Patton avoids them all with ease.

Barca scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Barca's corner calls for a 1-2. Barca obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Patton shoots in but Barca avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Patton closes the distance and clinches up with Barca, looking for a takedown. Patton pushes Barca against the cage but Barca circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Patton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Patton looks to land a combination but Barca avoids it well.
Patton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barca paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Patton ducks right into an uppercut from Barca.
Barca lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Barca.
Patton shoots in looking for a takedown. Barca tries to sprawl out of it but Patton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barca manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Patton shoots in and drives through. Barca sprawls well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Barca throws a combination that misses
and Patton counters by moving into the clinch.
Patton is trying to break the clinch but Barca has him pressed against the cage.

Barca has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Barca throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hannibal Barca seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Patton shoots in but no luck this time.

Patton is looking for a kimura but Barca is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Patton to get the leverage.
Patton tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Barca.
Barca wants to improve his position but Patton is controlling well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Patton uses his free foot to push down on Barca's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Barca.
Patton takes Barca's back.

Patton patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Barca rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Barca scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Patton manages to mount him!
Patton fails to advance to Barca's back.
Patton goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Barca turns into him and now he's in Patton's guard.
Patton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Barca stays in close to Patton's body and controls the position.
Barca must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Patton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barca circles away.
Barca drops Patton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Patton looks back up at him and smiles so Barca waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Barca lands a big uppercut and Patton crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Patton looks OK. Barca waves Patton back to his feet!
Patton is rocked!
Barca is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Patton hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
