Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fredo Santana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blue Rak! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rak drops Santana with a beautiful combination! Santana stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rak is looking for the KO! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Santana shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rak wants it to stay on the feet. Rak misses with the combination.

A head kick misses from Santana. Santana showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rak.
Santana looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Santana throws a series of punches but Rak avoids them all with ease. Santana moves to clinch but Rak breaks away and Santana takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rak has managed to clinch.
Santana is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rak to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fredo Santana. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rak breaks the clinch.
Rak throws a sloppy head kick and Santana moves out of range easily. Santana tries a head kick but it misses.
Santana doesn't manage to clinch there - Rak circles away.
Rak lands a big uppercut and Santana crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Santana looks OK. Rak waves Santana back to his feet!
Santana is rocked! Rak has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santana tries to clinch but Rak moves away and Rak rattles Santana with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Santana tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Rak dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Santana stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Blue Rak!
