Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Herghelegiu Marius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curiano Mohadef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marius looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mohadef is fending him off so far but Marius persists. Nope, Mohadef circles away and we're back to standing.
Marius shoots for a takedown but Mohadef saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mohadef tries to clinch there but Marius circles away.
Mohadef throws a head kick that misses.
Mohadef darts in trying to clinch

and Marius holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mohadef wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Marius takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Marius has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mohadef uses from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mohadef wants to get up but he can't break Marius's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marius is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Marius is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mohadef is aware though and is defending well.
Mohadef trying to stand up but can't free himself from Marius's guard.
Marius is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Marius not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Marius perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Marius throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Mohadef tries to kick Marius off in order to stand up. Marius Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mohadef tries to escape but Marius is in control.

Marius looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Mohadef takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mohadef tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mohadef is trapped and Marius is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Mohadef is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Marius.
Marius is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

Mohadef is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Marius manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
