Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arnulfo Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolph Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin tries to clinch there but Richard circles away.
Richard circles away from the clinch attempt
and Richard counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Richard.
Richard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Austin smiles and moves away.
Austin tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Richard counters with an inside leg kick.
Austin pushes Richard up against the cage in a clinch.
Austin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Austin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Richard keeps the fight on the outside.

That kick from Austin tenderised Richard's leg. Richard is trying to keep his angry face on.
Austin gets a clinch.
Richard takes a shot to the head.
Austin has picked Richard up - he's going for a ride! Austin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Richard looks like he's trying to stand up.
Austin gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Richard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Richard wants it to stay on the feet.
Richard keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Richard keeps the fight on the outside.
Richard gets tackled into the cage by Austin. Austin maintains the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Austin takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Austin drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Arnulfo Richard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodolph Austin.
Austin wants a takedown.

Austin tries to land knees in the clinch but Richard avoids the damage to the body.
Austin stops a takedown attempt from Richard.
Richard fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Richard tries to work over Austin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Austin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Richard takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Austin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Richard sprawls well. Richard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Austin gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck for Richard with that takedown attempt.

and Richard counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Austin's guard now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Richard is fighting to break Austin's control of his arms but Austin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Austin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Richard throws an elbow that misses. Austin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Richard's guard. Nice move by Austin!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin has Richard up against the cage in a clinch.
Richard has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Austin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Austin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Richard backwards.
Richard goes for a takedown attempt but Austin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Richard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Austin connects with a high kick.

Austin wants to clinch.
A good leg kick by Austin.
Austin clinches.
Austin utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Austin gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Arnulfo Richard has been cut.
Richard jumps guard but Austin stands there with Richard around his waist. Richard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arnulfo Richard. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Austin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Austin forces Richard back against the cage and clinches.
Richard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Austin connects with a knee to the head.
Richard is rocked!
Richard takes an elbow to the forehead.
Oh Richard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Richard jumps guard but Austin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Austin dips a shoulder and cracks Richard with a mighty uppercut! Richard falls back against the cage and Austin unloads with a barrage of strikes! Richard is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Austin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodolph Austin!
