Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimka Medvedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimka Medvedev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ping Lin!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lin wants to clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Lin.
Medvedev avoids a kick to the body.
Medvedev avoids the head kick by Lin.
Lin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Medvedev.
An inside leg kick lands from Lin.
Lin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Dimka Medvedev has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lin throws a leg kick which misses Medvedev's front leg but catches the back leg as Medvedev tries to avoid it.
Medvedev is breathing heavily.
Lin lands with a good body shot.
Medvedev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lin.
Lin lands with a kick to the ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Medvedev takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Medvedev ducks straight into an uppercut from Lin and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Medvedev manages to regain guard straight away.
Medvedev is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lin gets to his feet and stands over Medvedev, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Medvedev felt that one! Lin unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Medvedev from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ping Lin!
Ping Lin tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
