Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cian McGarrity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hughes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Country boy can survive. The crowd seem to be enjoying McGarrity's choice of entrance music: Irish Fighting Song - We Come in Pieces. Cian McGarrity has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Oh Hughes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McGarrity fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hughes on the side of the head.
McGarrity does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hughes seems to have got his legs back now.

McGarrity looks to land a body kick but Hughes moved away.
Cian McGarrity is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

McGarrity ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Good leg kick by McGarrity there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McGarrity fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McGarrity fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
McGarrity misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hughes.
McGarrity looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McGarrity lands a lovely overhand right.
Hughes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McGarrity is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hughes rather than just go for the knockout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McGarrity slips under a jab from Hughes.
Hughes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McGarrity defends well and Hughes ends up having to push McGarrity into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hughes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

McGarrity lands a big right hand that sends Hughes crashing to the mat! McGarrity stays standing though and waves Hughes back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGarrity lands a big right hook! Hughes looks hurt but is still standing! McGarrity lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Hughes falls down and McGarrity dives in with a huge hammer fist! Hughes's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and McGarrity runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
