Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bam Margera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Margera comes to the cage accompanied by Slacker. Davis has chosen Amazing Grace by The Celtic Woman as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Antonio Davis enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bam Margera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Davis!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Davis throws a sloppy body shot
and Margera counters with a straight right hand.
Margera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Margera has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Davis finds it's way round the side to connect with Margera's head.
Margera uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis.
Margera takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Davis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Margera.
Antonio Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Margera slips a jab from Davis.
Davis takes a swing at Margera's ribcage but misses.

Margera is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Davis's half guard.

Margera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Margera thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Davis pushes Margera off looking to stand but Margera dives back in and keeps control.

Margera is working for a kimura but Davis is defending it quite comfortably.

Margera escapes and gets back to his feet.

Margera looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Davis!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis is pushing Margera's head away, looking to escape. Margera manages to hold on to the position though.

Margera decides to stand up, so the ref orders Davis to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Davis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Margera was well out of range. Poor timing from Davis.

and Margera counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The strikes coming from Margera are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Margera is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Davis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Margera tries to move to mount but Davis blocks the move with his legs.
Margera works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Margera lands some shots froms side control.
Davis parries the strikes from Margera easily there. Margera is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Davis to escape.
Margera wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working.
Davis is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Davis takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Davis tries to escape but Margera is in control.

Margera is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Davis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Margera working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ground and pound from Margera seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
A big shot lands for Margera! That's hurt Davis! Will he recover? Margera fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bam Margera!
After the fight, Bam Margera was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
