Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepe LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Piscopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think LePew might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smoke Serpent- . Piscopo has chosen I'm a Soldier as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LePew checks a leg kick.
Piscopo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by LePew.
Piscopo misses the shot to the body.
Piscopo throws an off balance right hand
and LePew counters with a takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
LePew is looking to take a break and control but Piscopo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
LePew swings around for an armbar but Piscopo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into LePew's guard.
Piscopo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Piscopo drops back looking for a leg! LePew is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LePew manages to kick Piscopo off! Piscopo jumps back into LePew's guard.
LePew tries to land a sweep but no joy.

LePew has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Piscopo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for LePew.

Piscopo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as LePew is looking to escape.
LePew is looking to improve his position but Piscopo isn't that keen on the idea.
Piscopo unloads with some shots from mount but LePew bucks and avoids them well.

Piscopo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks LePew with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
LePew has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Piscopo is working away from the top position though.
Piscopo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
LePew moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Piscopo misses the jab.
LePew walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Piscopo throws a low kick but LePew avoids it.

LePew uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Piscopo.
LePew slips a jab and a cross from Piscopo.

Piscopo misses with a wild body shot.
LePew moves out of range as Piscopo strikes.
Joe Piscopo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
LePew takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Piscopo swings for the body but LePew moves out of range.
Piscopo misses with a hook. LePew ducked under it nicely.

and LePew counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by LePew.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Piscopo holds on and takes a little breather.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
LePew advances position into side control!
LePew is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Piscopo's shoulder. That is not cool.
Piscopo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but LePew wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Piscopo is not content to let LePew control the position.
LePew taking a break here but Piscopo is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
LePew passes to side control.
LePew is working to tighten his grip on Piscopo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Piscopo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but LePew is really squeezing tight and eventually Piscopo passes out! LePew breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Pepe LePew seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
