Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kojiro Tsukata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Stalhandske (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kojiro Tsukata! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Glenn Stalhandske! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stalhandske throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Stalhandske looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tsukata rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stalhandske moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stalhandske lands a jab-cross combination. Tsukata shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stalhandske but Stalhandske pushes him off and we're back to square one. Oooooh!!! Stalhandske has knocked Tsukata down with a huge combo! Stalhandske steps away and waves a wobbly Tsukata back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Tsukata is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stalhandske defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tsukata. Tsukata has been working on his balance at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Stalhandske. Stalhandske connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Glenn Stalhandske seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tsukata gets a takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Tsukata looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsukata is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stalhandske is defending against the submission attempts here by Tsukata.
Stalhandske pushes Tsukata off looking to stand but Tsukata dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsukata tries to pass to full mount but Stalhandske defends it. Tsukata passes the guard and advances to mount! Stalhandske's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Tsukata has control of Stalhandske's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stalhandske regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tsukata jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Stalhandske is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Stalhandske and Tsukata has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Tsukata advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsukata working for a guillotine from mount but Stalhandske is in no mood to give up. Stalhandske tries to buck Tsukata off but he can't manage it. Tsukata is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stalhandske to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stalhandske shrugs it off. Tsukata controlling from the full mount.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tsukata wants to finish this one by submission but Stalhandske is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tsukata.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsukata is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Tsukata!
