Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samir Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahric comes to the cage accompanied by When I Die - Genocide(Jusuf Dzilic). Samir Kahric is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samir Kahric! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Brody! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahric fails with the takedown and Brody cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A combination from Brody does no damage. Kahric looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nice takedown defense from Brody. No joy for Kahric on that attempt. Kahric steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brody. Brody tries to bum rush Kahric with a series of wild strikes but Kahric uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kahric shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brody defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samir Kahric. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Kahric with that takedown attempt. Brody misses with a hook. Kahric ducked under it nicely. Kahric walks into a straight right hand from Brody. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kahric shoots in for a double leg but Brody sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kahric has his takedown stuffed and Kahric takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Samir Kahric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Brody misses. Brody misses with a hook. Kahric shoots for a takedown but Brody saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Brody misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kahric shoots in but no luck this time. Kahric misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kahric closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Brody quickly recovers to half guard. Brody has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kahric seems to be working for a kimura but Brody defends the submission attempt. Kahric sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Brody defending well though. Brody really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kahric. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brody is trying to stand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brody can do anything to dispel that myth. Kahric looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kahric is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brody has managed to free his arm - good work. Kahric is breathing heavily. Brody is in trouble now - Kahric has advanced to mount! Brody is desperately trying to improve his position but Kahric has a good base and remains in mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kahric has control of Brody's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brody regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kahric throwing strikes here but Brody is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brody defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kahric. Brody can't escape the position.
Kahric is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brody can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kahric looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Brody is looking to improve his position but Kahric isn't that keen on the idea. Kahric wants to finish this one by submission but Brody is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kahric. Brody defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kahric.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kahric has hold of Brody's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brody manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kahric swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brody is now in Kahric's guard. A big mistake from Kahric there, giving up the dominant position! Brody must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brody missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kahric utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kahric escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brody gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brody loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brody trying to control but Kahric is working from the bottom. Kahric throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Samir Kahric will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kahric's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brody connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kahric scrambles back to his feet. A jab from Brody misses. Brody thows a left - swing and a miss! Kahric looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brody is fending him off so far but Kahric persists. Nope, Brody circles away and we're back to standing. Kahric feints and as Brody raises his hands in defense, Kahric changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kahric postures up.
Kahric pushes down on Brody's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kahric wants to work for an arm triangle but Brody is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kahric is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kahric prevents Brody from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brody throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Brody wants to improve his position but Kahric is controlling well.
Kahric is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kahric has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Brody defend it? Kahric steps over the head and cranks it - Brody is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kahric!
