Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Musaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Musaki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Apache. Chris Reaper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Musaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chris Reaper! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Musaki tries to clinch up and Reaper counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Reaper showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Reaper stopping the sweep attempt from Musaki. Musaki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reaper won't allow Musaki to sweep him here. Musaki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Reaper was stalling too much, according to the referee. Reaper scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Reaper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Musaki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reaper has managed to get both his arms back between Musaki's legs - danger averted. Musaki is looking for a triangle but Reaper pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Reaper might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Musaki is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Musaki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reaper's guard. Reaper is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Musaki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reaper swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reaper looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Chris Reaper. Musaki tries to clinch and Reaper counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Musaki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Reaper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Musaki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reaper is one step ahead there. Reaper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Musaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reaper is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. This has been an exciting period of action! Musaki is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reaper can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Musaki is breathing heavily. Musaki striking from his own guard. Musaki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reaper, pushing him back against the cage. Musaki wants to take the fight to the mat but Reaper manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Musaki wants a takedown.
Reaper has clasped his hands together around Musaki's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Reaper controlling the position from side mount. Musaki sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Musaki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reaper pulls his head out easily. Reaper wants to pass the guard but Musaki is defending well. That's one minute gone in the round. Musaki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reaper is aware though and is defending well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Musaki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Reaper is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Musaki presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reaper is pressed up against the cage. Musaki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Reaper down to the mat. Reaper avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenji Musaki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Musaki wants to clinch but Reaper slips to the side and Reaper counters with a shoot takedown. Musaki fights it but they end up in guard. Musaki has his foot on Reaper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reaper works his way back into a safe position though. Reaper slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reaper can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. A close second round but Chris Reaper will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Musaki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Musaki looks to clinch and Reaper counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Musaki! Musaki is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Reaper off and has taken his back! Reaper is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Musaki gets his way!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reaper trying to control the action but Musaki just sinks the hooks in. Musaki is looking for the choke from the back position but Reaper is controlling his hands well. A lull in the action here.

Musaki tries to reverse the position but Reaper maintains control. Reaper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Musaki bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Reaper is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Musaki moves to clinch but Reaper breaks away and Reaper counters with a nice double leg into guard.
