Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kahne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sync Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Kahne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sync Fowler! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fowler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kahne counters with a takedown into side control. Fowler tries to escape but Kahne is in control. Fowler can't do much from the bottom here. Kahne trying to control the action but Fowler is working from the bottom. Kahne in side control lands a decent elbow. Kahne working the ground and pound but Fowler is defending the strikes. Kahne trying to control the action but Fowler is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Fowler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fowler pushes Kahne away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kahne gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kahne working the ground and pound but Fowler is defending the strikes. Kahne postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fowler is not content to let Kahne control the position. Fowler tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kahne wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Fowler on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Kahne working the ground and pound from side control. Kahne scoring with punches from side control. Kahne wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fowler keeps working. Kahne lands a nice forearm strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kahne lands a few punches from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fowler takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kahne lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Fowler takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kahne scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Fowler to see if he's OK. Kahne working the ground and pound. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kahne cracks Fowler with a big right hand but Fowler just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Fowler is rocked! Kahne laying and praying for a moment but Fowler takes advantage and regains half guard. Fowler is still in real trouble! Can Kahne finish him? Fowler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fowler seems to have recovered his senses. Kahne looks to land a strike but Fowler avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Kahne trying to control but Fowler is working from the bottom. Fowler pulls Kahne in close to his closed guard and prevents Kahne from doing any damage or advancing position. Kahne with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kahne with a nice head shot there. Fowler wants to stand but Kahne is controlling the position. Kahne slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kahne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fowler is keeping the position for now. Fowler looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kahne is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kahne prevents Fowler from getting back to his feet. Kahne is looking to work some ground and pound but Fowler has wrist control. Fowler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fowler pulls Kahne in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fowler wants to stand and escape but Kahne is having none of it. Kahne postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Fowler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fowler has momentary wrist control but Kahne slips an elbow through the middle. This has been an exciting period of action! Kahne postures up in Fowler's guard and throws a big left but Fowler blocks it. Kahne throwing strikes but missing. Kahne working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kahne trying to control but Fowler is working from the bottom. Kahne is working Fowler over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kahne landing some decent shots from guard. Kahne cracks Fowler with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Kahne dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fowler tries for a takedown but Kahne circles away easily and Kahne counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kahne. Kahne stands up over Fowler, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kahne cracks Fowler with a solid left hand. Fowler trying to control the position.
Kahne trying to control but Fowler is working from the bottom. Fowler working a defensive guard but Kahne manages to pass into side control anyway.
Kahne controlling the position. Fowler takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fowler sneaks back into half guard. Kahne frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fowler is trying desperately to improve position. Kahne landing strikes from the mount. Kahne is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fowler can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fowler is desperately trying to improve his position but Kahne has a good base and remains in mount. Kahne lands a big elbow - Fowler is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Fowler is forced to tap out!
