Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Kostov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Kopyto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Kopyto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Boris Kostov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Kopyto!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kopyto closes the distance and clinches.
Kopyto misses with a body punch.
Kopyto is trying to stall.

Kostov successfully pulls guard.
Kopyto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kostov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kopyto is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kostov.
Kopyto tries to stand but Kostov is controlling his head.

Kostov is trying to get back to his feet.
Kostov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Kopyto takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kopyto tries to control but Kostov wriggling away.

Kopyto wants to finish this one by submission but Kostov is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kopyto.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kopyto is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kostov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Boris Kostov has been cut.

Kostov tries to score a body lock takedown but Kopyto shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kopyto. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Kopyto closes the distance and pushes Kostov back into the cage.

Kostov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kopyto regains guard.
Kostov with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kostov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kopyto pulls Kostov in close to prevent any damage.

Kostov has gone for a leg lock! Kopyto slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kostov's guard.

Kostov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kopyto stacks Kostov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kopyto!

The strikes coming from Kopyto are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Kostov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kopyto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kopyto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Andrew Kopyto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kopyto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
