Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by yes. Zio has chosen Old Mcdonald had a farm as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Zio.
Black seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Zio misses with a few strikes there.

Zio wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Zio counters with a left to the body.
Black takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Some bone on bone action there as Zio checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Zio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Black defends it nicely.
Black connects with a body shot that sends Zio's belly button to the back.
Black feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zio has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mr Black.
