Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sepp Maier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maier comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mas não bate. Gray has chosen Awesome God as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
37 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Sepp Maier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 15 - 2, fighting out of London, Mr Gray! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maier moves in looking to clinch but Gray pushes him off. Gray throws a jab when Maier was well out of range. Maier looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gray tries to land a front kick but Maier steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Gray with a hook. Maier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gray throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maier's waist but Maier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gray off to one side. Gray gets caught flat footed, as Maier shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Maier is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Maier with a nice head shot there. Maier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gray has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maier has managed to get both his arms back between Gray's legs - danger averted. Gray is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maier defends well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maier landing with the ground and pound. Gray utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gray is looking for a triangle but Maier pushes his legs off easily.
Gray escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maier gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Maier postures up and lands a big shot to Gray's brow. Gray is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Maier is aware though and is defending well. Maier passes into half guard. Maier scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Maier is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gray is just riding it out for now. Maier eventually gives up the hold. Maier looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gray with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Maier pulls his head out easily. Gray actively working from the bottom here. Maier is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gray is just riding it out for now. Maier eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gray looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maier winds up and cracks Gray with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ground and pound from Maier. Maier is working for a kimura but Gray is defending it quite comfortably.

Maier moves nicely into side control. Gray gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Gray keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Maier cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gray is trying desperately to improve position. Maier looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Gray is looking to improve his position but Maier isn't that keen on the idea. Maier is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gray has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Maier looking for a guillotine from mount but Gray is having none of it. Maier is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gray can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gray sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maier is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gray defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maier is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gray has managed to free his arm - good work. Gray looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. Gray manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Maier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gray swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gray has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Maier can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gray is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maier defends well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Maier pushing down on Gray's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Maier pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sepp Maier dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gray gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Maier to score an easy takedown into full guard. Maier content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Maier with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Maier is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Gray throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Maier postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Maier trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Maier thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gray looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maier lands a couple of decent looking shots. Sepp Maier overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Maier throwing strikes from guard but Gray blocks nicely. Maier scoring with some ground and pound.

Gray is rocked! Maier loads up on a big left hand. Gray felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Maier looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gray can't hide his disappointment, as Maier celebrates the victory.
