Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Charles Skarbowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skarbowsky has chosen Lux Aeterna as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mac Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jean Charles Skarbowsky!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skarbowsky swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hansen counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Jean Charles Skarbowsky has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Skarbowsky. Hansen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hansen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jean Charles Skarbowsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skarbowsky looks to score with a jab to the body but Hansen is just out of range.
Skarbowsky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hansen.
We've been told by Hansen's head coaches at Disciples Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hansen looks to land a left hand but Skarbowsky moved out of range nicely.
Skarbowsky digs a good body shot into Hansen's ribs.
Skarbowsky punishes Hansen's body with a nice straight punch.
Hansen just misses with a punch to the body.
Hansen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Skarbowsky throws a head kick that misses.
Skarbowsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hansen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hansen gets a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Skarbowsky works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skarbowsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hansen is one step ahead there.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hansen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mac Hansen just wasn't active enough.

Skarbowsky gets caught flat footed, as Hansen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Skarbowsky pulls Hansen in close to prevent any damage.

Hansen is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hansen trying to control but Skarbowsky is working from the bottom.

Our spies down at at Brotherhood Gym inform us that Skarbowsky has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Hansen wants to pass the guard but Skarbowsky is keeping the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Skarbowsky pulls Hansen in close to his closed guard and prevents Hansen from doing any damage or advancing position.

We're going to have a standup here because Mac Hansen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Skarbowsky looks for the body kick but Hansen saw that one coming.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Skarbowsky throws a head kick that misses

and Hansen counters with a single leg into guard. Skarbowsky didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hansen trying to control but Skarbowsky is working from the bottom.
Hansen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Skarbowsky feints and then cracks Hansen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hansen down.
Skarbowsky lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Skarbowsky swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hansen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Skarbowsky pushes Hansen away with a front kick.
Hansen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Skarbowsky.
Skarbowsky lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Skarbowsky lands with a slapping head kick.
Skarbowsky throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hansen.
Hansen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hansen drives through with a takedown into Skarbowsky's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hansen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hansen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Skarbowsky.
Hansen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Mac Hansen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hansen drops his hands momentarily and Skarbowsky takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hansen fails to land with a series of punches.
Skarbowsky fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hansen misses with a series of wild punches.
Skarbowsky lands a leg kick that knocks Hansen off balance momentarily.
Skarbowsky pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hansen back to the cage. Skarbowsky follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A right-left combo lands from Hansen.


Skarbowsky is rocked!
Hansen tries to bum rush Skarbowsky with a series of wild strikes but Skarbowsky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Skarbowsky is still on wobbly legs! Can Hansen finish him?
Skarbowsky scores with a jab.
Hansen drops Skarbowsky with a naaaaasty hook - Skarbowsky is in real trouble here! Hansen dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mac Hansen!
A very excited looking Mac Hansen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
