Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Baskerville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Vines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baskerville comes to the cage accompanied by God Save the Queen. Henry Baskerville has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Vines!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Vines 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Henry Baskerville seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baskerville cracks Vines with an open hand slap.
The fighters circle momentarily. Baskerville darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A jab from Baskerville does it's job there.

Baskerville throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vines tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Baskerville is in Vines's guard.
Vines keeping moving, preventing Baskerville from controlling successfully.

Vines looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Vines had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Baskerville defends it easily.
Baskerville is stalling in the full guard.

Vines throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Baskerville escapes and throws Vines's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Baskerville tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Vines manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Vines missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Vines tries to pass to full mount but Baskerville defends it.
Vines thows a huge punch but Baskerville dodges it nicely.

Vines looks to land a strike but Baskerville avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Vines stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baskerville swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Baskerville seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baskerville wants to sweep but no luck.
Vines loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Vines trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Vines trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Vines tries to free his leg and advance position but Baskerville is retaining full guard.
Vines throws a big right hand that misses.
Vines postures up and lands a big shot to Baskerville's brow.
Vines throws an elbow that misses. Baskerville uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vines's guard. Nice move by Baskerville!

Vines looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vines is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Baskerville defends well.
Vines looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Vines keeping moving, preventing Baskerville from controlling successfully.
Vines looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Baskerville won't allow Vines to sweep him here.

Baskerville stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vines swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Baskerville passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Vines is looking for a sweep.

Baskerville thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Vines manages to get back to half guard.

Baskerville is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vines defends it well.
Baskerville works his way into side control.
Vines tries to improve position but can't.
Vines keeps trying to improve his position.

Baskerville is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vines knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baskerville has hold of Vines's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vines seems comfortable defending it but Baskerville has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vines is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vines is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Baskerville couldn't care less - he's delighted!
