Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Walken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Killer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Killer.
Walken dodges the punch combination from Killer.
Killer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Walken misses with a wild body shot.
Walken looks to throw the jab but Killer is out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Walken. That snapped Killer's head back.
Killer takes a jab right on the kisser.
Killer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A left and a right from Walken both land. Nice combination.
Killer stuffs the takedown attempt from Walken. Walken gets slowly back to his feet.
Walken tests Killer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Walken shoots for a takedown but Killer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walken lands a body shot.
Walken tries to clinch but Killer moves out of range.
Walken throws a right and a left that Killer avoids nicely.
Killer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Walken rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Killer counters with a three punch combo that has Walken backing up. Walken nods at Killer to acknowledge the strikes.
Walken scores with a body shot.
Killer misses with a double jab
and Walken counters with a nice body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Walken, as that shot connected.
Walken scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Walken lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walken connects with a jab.
Walken uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Killer has time to react.
Walken has been working on his balance at S-1 Complete Fighter Fitness, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Killer.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walken listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Killer is rocked!
Walken bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Killer's head backwards.
Killer is still on wobbly legs! Can Walken finish him?
Killer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walken moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walken misses with a few strikes there.
Killer seems to have recovered his senses.
Killer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Walken counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Killer looks winded!
Walken has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Walken paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Andy Killer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Walken scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Walken scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Walken throws a poor cross that misses
and Killer counters with a two punch combo.
Walken throws a shot to the body.
Will Walken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walken with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Walken bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Walken pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A jab from Walken does it's job there.
Walken clobbers Killer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Killer falls off balance throwing a combination
and Walken counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Walken drops Killer with a naaaaasty hook - Killer is in real trouble here! Walken dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Walken!
